(Amateur Athletic Union)
AAU (Amateur Athletic Union) is a nationwide youth sports organization that provides athletes with opportunities to compete, develop their skills, and participate in organized athletic programs.
Our gymnasts compete through AAU to gain valuable competition experience, build confidence, develop their skills, and challenge themselves in a supportive environment. AAU gives our athletes additional opportunities to compete, grow, and represent our gym.

How to Report a Concern
1. Identify the Concern
Determine what happened and whether it involves athlete safety, misconduct, abuse, harassment, bullying, or another concern.
2. Gather the Details
Provide as much specific information as possible, including:

Name of the person being reported

Club or gym affiliation
-
Date and location of the incident
-
People involved
-
Description of what occurred
-
Whether the incident happened at an AAU-licensed event
3. Complete the AAU Reporting Form
Use AAU's official Athlete Protection Reporting Form to submit your concern.
4. Submit Your Report
Review your information carefully and submit the completed report to AAU.
5. Report Emergencies Immediately
If you believe an athlete is in immediate danger or a crime has occurred, contact the appropriate local authorities immediately. AAU's athlete-protection guidance also directs reports of suspected child physical or sexual abuse to law enforcement.
